Our Story
Built Around the Pace of Midlife
Anong Wealth began with a simple belief — that understanding money should feel calm, not hurried.

A Quiet Beginning in Chiang Mai
Anong Wealth was founded in Chiang Mai by Khun Anong Charoensuk, a long-time financial educator who noticed something that troubled her: most money courses were built for young professionals in a hurry. People in their forties and fifties — many of them managing the most complex financial period of their lives — were being offered content that felt rushed and impersonal.
She opened a small study space on Rajdamnern Road in 2019 with a different idea. Courses would be unhurried. Groups would be small. Every question would be welcomed. The content would be grounded in the Thai banking system and in the real concerns of midlife: managing day-to-day costs, setting aside funds for the years ahead, and understanding what options are available without feeling overwhelmed.
Today, Anong Wealth serves several hundred graduates across three carefully structured programmes. The space on Rajdamnern Road remains the same — calm, unhurried, and easy to reach. The approach remains unchanged too: sit together, learn together, and move at the speed of understanding.
Our Mission
To offer adults in midlife a clear, composed space in which to understand their financial choices — without pressure, without jargon, and without the feeling that they have arrived too late.
Our Values
- Stillness first. We do not rush. Understanding takes the time it needs.
- Respect for experience. Participants bring decades of life knowledge. We learn from each other.
- Honest clarity. We explain how things work, and say plainly when something is outside our scope.
- Privacy by habit. What participants share in sessions stays within the group.

Our Standards
How We Work
These are the principles that shape every session, every material, and every conversation at Anong Wealth.
Educational Integrity
Our curriculum is reviewed annually and content is drawn from established financial education frameworks used across Southeast Asia.
Participant Privacy
Personal information shared during sessions is held in confidence. We do not share participant details with third parties and store records securely.
Clear Scope
We are educators, not licensed advisors. We are clear about what we teach and always refer participants to qualified professionals for personal financial decisions.
Accessible Learning
Sessions use large-print materials, a measured pace, and clear spoken explanations. The space is accessible by step-free entrance and comfortably furnished.
Feedback Culture
After each programme, participants are invited to share their thoughts. Every response is read and considered when planning the next term.
Community Approach
Participants often become familiar faces across programmes. The small group setting fosters a sense of mutual support that many find as valuable as the sessions themselves.
Financial Education Designed for Midlife in Thailand
Anong Wealth operates from Rajdamnern Road in the Sri Phum quarter of Chiang Mai — an area that has long been associated with quiet civic life, temples, and the kind of unhurried rhythm that suits thoughtful learning. Our location is deliberate. The atmosphere of the neighbourhood reflects the atmosphere we aim to create inside our sessions.
Financial education for adults in their forties and beyond requires a different approach than what is typically offered. This age group often comes with particular responsibilities: supporting children through education, considering the needs of aging parents, managing a home, and beginning to think seriously about what the years after work might look like. These are real, weighty concerns — and they deserve measured, considered attention.
Our three programmes — Entering Quietly, Finding Order, and The Inner Courtyard — move from introductory to more detailed territory. Each is self-contained. Participants may join at any level that suits their current understanding, and many choose to attend more than one over time. The result is a composed, layered understanding of personal finance that grows steadily, without pressure.
